Pr. Souleymane Mboup
Professor Souleymane Mboup is a Senegalese scientist and global health leader whose career has been dedicated to infectious disease research, scientific collaboration, and the development of health research capacity in Africa. His contribution to the discovery of HIV-2 helped shape the global understanding of HIV, while his work over several decades has contributed to building research networks and institutions across Africa and beyond.
